Production Update

This week, my big goal was to get over the hurdle of getting the interaction working. I knew coming into the project that I would struggle a little bit with this much javascript and getting the code to work the way I wanted to, so I wanted to give myself enough time to figure it out before getting too far on anything else. My goal was to have the interaction working by class on Friday, and that goal was met! Thanks to the code Christina shared, I was able to make my own assets and change up the code a bit to get the interaction working.

There are still some kinks to work out, like fixing the size of the image and finding out what to do with the gaps between cutouts. But, I got the core interaction to work this week and that was a big success in my book. Now, I’m off to designing the rest of the site!
